CLAYA

A construction site at 1800 m above sea level in the middle of the mountains in Vorarlberg, Austria. At this special place, we were part of an international team of young architects and crafts people who admired working with earth as a building material. The construction site lasted two years and was led by Hanno Burtscher. This time allowed us to obtain a deep insight into the work on a construction site, to understand building processes and to learn how to build with ecological materials especially earth.
